California State Association of Parliamentarians Division of the National Association of Parliamentarians The objective and purpose of the CSAP are To teach individuals how to protect their rights and interests in any organization, To promote interest in the use of parliamentary law among the citizenry of many communities through Parliamentary/Leadership workshops, To work with high school and college groups to stimulate the study and use of Parliamentary Law, To offer assistance and study to any individual or group interested in becoming a parliamentarian and thus a member of the California State Association of Parliamentarians, To assist parliamentarians to become convention parliamentarians, bylaws consultants, instructors, and official presiding officers, and To serve as a chartered state association of the National Association of Parliamentarians.
